Chatham & District Jubilee Souvenir Book 1930-1980

This 64 page paperback book was written by Malcolm John and published to celebrate 50 years since the replacing of the tramway systems in the Medway Towns. This book uses newspaper cuttings and nostalgic photographs to show the majority of vehicle types that operated in the brown, green and cream livery of the Chatham & District fleet. The fleet was subsumed into the main Maidstone & District Fleet in 1955. There are 48 b/white plates and the book is size 210mm x 155mm. There is a fleet list. It was published at £4.95 and is now £2.95.
